Happy Boo - Sketch This Challenge

This is my take on this weeks Sketch This challenge.




















I used Stampin' Up! Autumn Apparitions and Booglie Eyes stamp sets. Only Orange and Black Cardstock, Creepy Crawly Double Sided Designer Series Paper, Black Ink, Only Orange and Green Galore Markers.

Fabulous Flowers - Sketch This Card Contest

I love the Fabulous Flowers stamp set from Stampin' Up! I created this card that just so happens to work for this weeks Sketch This Card Contest ...yippee!

The Fab Flower has been cut out and the edges curled up. I used the distressing tool around the edges of the green layer.

For the border on the green layer, I used the dotted stem stamp from Stampin' Up's In The Spotlight Hostess stamp set.

For this card i used:
Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Very Vanilla cardstock
Fabulous Flowers and In the Spotlight stamp sets
Stampin' Up! Outlaw Designer paper
Stampin' Up! Jeweled brad

Sketch This Card Contest

This is my card for the Sketch This Card contest. I love this layout. I think I will be creating more with this one...thanks girls!

For this card I used: K&Company designer paper, Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip cardstock and ribbon, and the retired Stampin' Up! In Full Bloom Stamp set. Cameo Coral, Real Red, Old Olive and Certainly Celery markers.

Happy 4th July!

I used this weeks Sketch This challenge to create my 4th July cards. I must say, it was a very timely design! :-)

For this card I used;

Stampin' Up! Not Quite Navy cut to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, Stampin Up! Whisper White cute to 3 15/16 x 3 15/16 and My Minds Eye, Signature Life "Everyday Be" designer paper cut to 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.

I covered my Stampin' Up! On Board Accents Stars with scraps of my Fancy Pants Red and White paper and tied organza ribbon on the star. Stampin' Up! Real red marker was used for the dotted outline around the star.

I hope everyone has a fabulously fun and safe 4th July. Enjoy the time with your friends and/or family and remember, these moments last a lifetime :)

Sketch This Card challenge #16

I am a little behind in the Sketch This Card challenges. I made this card last night using the Sketch challenge #16 layout.

All products are Stampin' Up!
Cardstock: Choc Chip, Soft Sky, Au Chocolat and Petals and Paisley designer paper
Stamp: Big blossoms
Ink: Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White Craft
Accessories: Ribbon (forgot the name) and Hodgepodge hardware

Beate on her blog shared a site that has card sketches. They have 14 sketches posted to date and of course, I can't wait to try them all :-) The site Sketch This, is definitely worth bookmarking!

3x3 warm up card challenge

Here are my layouts for a 3x3 warm up card challenge. These cards are meant to be used to get your creative juices flowing in the morning because of their miniture size and the fact they should take no longer than 15 minutes each to make.

The good thing about this challenge arriving this morning is I could use up some of the My Mind's Eye scraps from over the weekend...I LOVE that!


For this one, I used Stampin' Up Flower's for a Friend stamp set. Stampin' Up! Ruby Red, Creamy Caramel and Au Chocolate Designer Paper, Ruby Red and Close to Cocoa Ink. White gel pen for fauz stitching.


For this card, I used scraps from My Minds Eye patterned paper and Fancy Pants Rub ons.


This one used scraps from My Minds Eye paper and A Muse "Sweet" stamp with Stampin' Up! Markers to color it in. White Gel pen was used for the faux stitching.

Oh the unfairness of it all! :-) I arrived home to quickly change clothes and head out to dinner with friends. I decided to quickly check email and what do I see? A sketch challenge from Beate! Now who could refuse???! Could I make a card in the little time I had before I had to run out the door? YEP!....BUT I will be trying this sketch challenge again over the weekend!

I used, My mind's Eye patterned paper, Stampin' Up! Two Way Blossom stamps set, Stampin' Up! Basic Black Classic ink pad, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue Markers.
