Out of my comfort zone

Well...this one is definitely out of my comfort zone based on composition but i decided that I would go with it to see how much I would squirm....the answer is ....quite a bit! :-)

Until next time ....

Slider card...or as i call it...Magic Card! :)

Here is a card that I tried for the first time at an upline meeting. Some call it a slider, some call it a pop-up, I call it...Magic! You pull the tab up the top (i hope you can see it) and the two panels pop out. Kinda cute :D
I think i am going to try it again but with my own choice of cardstock and stamps and see what Magic will be produced.

Blooming with flowers

Well, as I mentioned below, I am using this stamp set alot as its so versatile.

I ended up spending some time stamping and coloring the other night. I have no idea what I am going to make with these samples but I am sure I will come up with something soon!

Aqua Blender

I just love working with the watercolors and I decided to play with the Stampin' Up! Aqua Blender for the first time on the weekend. I like the scratchy look to this card, although you can also create a fine, smooth finish.
I love the "In Full Bloom" stamp set because of its versatility. You will see a few more samples over the coming days with this set :)
Let me know what you think of this card!

I have this thing about the long notes...

Everytime i go into my craft room I naturally gravitate to these long notes.I just love the size of them. Here is another i made with, of all things...scraps! I had some of the cute spotted designer paper left over and some scraps of certainly celery and very vanilla. I used one of the Both Ways Blossoms hostess sets for this card...i think it turned out fairly cute!
